Brandon and I have decided to study together 1 Peter. This is something new to us. To study a book together from the Bible. We both study God's word daily on our own. But I think to do this together will be really good and something that God wants us to do as families/couples.
So we are beginning with 1 Peter. Brandon chose the book. It is a book I have read many times, and love. I think it will be interesting to see what God brings to light for both of us during this study.
So today we began. I read the first chapter. I wanted to share the verse that was speaking to me today.
1 Peter 1:25 "But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you."
Isn't that so true? God's words do live for ever. And we have them available to us, it's amazing.
