Wow, it's April!!

Once again where did the last month go???  LOL  Obviously I'm not very good at this blogging thing!  I get so caught up in life that I forget to get on here and post anything.  Oh well, there's always next month!

So let's catch you up.  We have had a pretty good month.  I'm so happy that spring seems to be here.  Minus allergy season.  Rylee and Danny have finished up wrestling season last week.  They had a great first season of wrestling.  Rylee is now anxious to start up baseball season.

We are in our last month of school, yeah!  This school year has gone well.  The boys have learned so much this year.  We of course will continue through the summer with reading and math, but I think we are all looking forward to a little break.

We are leaving on April 26 to go and stay overnight in Boston, then heading out the next morning on an early flight to Phoenix, Arizona.  We are going to visit Brandon's family there for a week.  Rylee and Danny are so excited.  They can't wait to get on the plane and fly!  It will be an "adventure" as they keep calling it!  I'm sure we will have great fun the whole week.

Our chickens are doing well, still not laying many eggs yet.  But they are happy.  The boys are having so much fun with them.  They are doing a great job taking care of them.  Rylee spends a lot of time out in the coop with them, it is so cute.  He has named all of them and can tell them apart with ease.  Which cracks me up, I can't tell them apart really at all!  They all look like Rhode Island Reds to me!  LOL

Danny is still struggling with his digestive/stomach issues.  But we continue to pray and know that God is working on this.  We have had to change his diet again.  Danny is such a trooper, he is limited so much in what he can eat.  But he just goes with it, usually with a good attitude.  He has an appointment with a Pediatric Gastroenterologist next month.  We are praying that she will have some ideas or answers in regards to Danny.  Right now our big prayer is that Danny will not lose any more weight.  He has struggled with some weight loss over the last month or so.  I'm very thankful though that he has such a good attitude (for the most part).

Rylee is doing great.  He is growing so much, both physically and in all other ways.  He's just growing up!  He's becoming more responsible and independant.  But is still my little boy who likes to come and sit in my lap for a snuggle.

Well, I think that is about it from here!  With spring here we are busy with our insect study.  Fun!  The boys are constantly bringing me bugs/insects to look at.  Along with the usual collection of salamanders, frogs and other creatures.  I love being a mom of boys!!

I pray that all of you are haivng a delightful spring.  Enjoy God's wonderful creation and thank Him every day for what He has given us.
Love to all of you!

Blessings,
Carrie
