Summertime!

WOW! Summer already. Here at our home we have had a crazy couple of months. Hence not posting at all since April. Let's see, First the end of April we went on a trip to Arizona. We visited the grandparents and great grandparents. Spent a week there. The boys had a great time.
When we got home Rylee and Danny both started baseball.  This was the first year that they were on different teams.  Which meant lots of running around for Mom!  Danny played on lower minor league and Rylee on upper minor league.  They both did a fantastic job!
Cherry, my mother in law, came to visit us the week after we got back from Arizona.  She was here for two weeks.  That was really nice.  The boys loved having all that time with Grandma.
We finished off our school year!  Yeah!!  Then summer wrestling season began.  Busy busy busy!  Oh and throw in there that Molly, our dog, is pregnant (yes planned).
Now it's almost the 4th of July.  Molly is due to have her puppies any day now.  The boys are super excited.

Our nephew is here to stay for a week.  Rylee and Danny are enjoying the company.  I'm getting used to the change in dynamics with a third child in the house.  It's amazing to me how that throws everything off!  Not necessarily in a bad way, just changes it.  They are all going to camp out in the tent tonight.  I'm wondering if they will make it the whole night out there?  And if they do... will they sleep at all?

Brandon is still busy with work.  A bit of a lull right now as he waits for a new big job to start.  But he's had a couple of roof to do in between.  We are so thankful to God for his provisions.

The garden is growing!  We ended up sharing a garden with our neighbor.  He had a wonderful plot (huge) and was generous to let us share it with him.  Again, God's provisions and blessings.  I'll have to get some pictures of the garden.

The next couple of months are really busy.  Between Rylee's summer wrestling practices and tournaments.  Practices are a couple of nights a week and tournaments are almost every Saturday.  Danny isn't participating, he is recovering still from a back injury.  Please keep him in your prayers.  He injured his lower lumbar.  It's taking quite a while to heal.  So no sports or rough play for him.  How do you keep a 7 year old from playing rough??  It's been very difficult, and filled with lots of tears and frustrations.
Rylee then starts football in August.  He cannot wait.  So again, busy busy!
Danny will be starting 4-H in July.  He's very excited for that.  We really thought it was important that he have something to do.  He spends so much time watching his brother particpate in sports and that is hard.  Danny loves animals, horses in particular.  So it's a 4-H horse club.  They are also wanting to start with dairy cattle (if enough interest), Danny wants to do that too.  He is excited.  Rylee is also very happy for him, which is great.  I love how Rylee shows support for his little brother.

So that is the rundown on our life lately.  How about yours?  Anything new and exciting?  Here's a couple more pictures of the boys!
